It is hard to believe but the boys are 12 weeks already.  We don't go back to the doctor until next month but, I was very curious to find out how much they weigh.  So I weighed myself (the sacrifices I make for my children)  and then picked up a baby.  From what I can conclude they both weigh about 13.5 lbs.  I doesn't look like they'll be in their 3-6 moth clothes for long. 

I went to a Mother's Night Out with the local mom of multiples group and had a blast. It was fun being with a room full of women who truly get "it".  I met one "mom" who literally lives blocks from us. She said she had seen a mom walking twins down the main street in the neighborhood and was tempted to stop and talk to her.  I'm sure it was me.  Looks like a play date in the works for us.  

 

I took a shower every day this week.

As you can tell from the title I'm getting a pretty good handle on being a SAHM.   Doug's parents came over again Wednesday, at this point it is more for the boys - I feel that I don't get to hold them enough during the day so it is nice having an extra set of hands. Our friends Kris and John stopped and we had a very nice visit. The boys were a bit fussy the first half of the week I think it is from getting their shots last week.  

The weather here is warming up and it is getting tough for us to go for walks-  The boys get over heated in their car seats.  I did take them to Sawgrass Mall to walk around and have lunch. We felt like celebrity's, people would stop me to ask about the boys- actually that happens every where we go.  I even hear people whisper about them as we walk by.  It is fun when we are just casually hanging out but some times I'm on a mission and its get annoying. I just remind myself of how unusual it is to see twins and how sweet it really is.
